Blue compass has donated to / participating in the LifeLine Queensland`s Giving Day.
LifeLine is a 24 hour 7 day week support service the provides life support and suicide prevention by telephone and chat support.　Making the service available to everyone.

Giving Day for 2021 is on June 29th and it is when any money donated is doubled due to LifeLine`s generous donors (our funds go towards creating this “matching pool”).

Currently, 9 Australians die every day due to suicide and it is the leading course of death for those aged 15-44. The recent pandemic has only made the issue of suicide prevention more topical.

ブルーコンパスは、Lifelineクイーンズランド・ギビングデーの寄付活動に参加しています。Lifelineは24時間年中無休のサポートサービスをしており、電話やチャットによる生活サポートと自殺予防のためのサポートをしています。誰もが利用できるサービスです。

2021年のギビングデーは6月29日となっており、Lifelineに対して理解ある寛大な寄付者のおかげで、ギビングデーで集められた寄付金の2倍の額がLifelineの寄付金にすることができるのです。（ブルーコンパスが寄付する資金は、この準備金（2倍にするためにプールされる資金）として使われます）

現在オーストラリアでは、毎日9人が自殺で亡くなっており、15～44歳の死亡者の主要な死因となっています。最近のパンデミックにより、自殺予防について関心が低くなっていますが、改めて考える機会にしたいと考えます。
